Dr. Treloar Padovano will be joining the COBRE Center for Addiction and Disease Risk Exacerbation to conduct a 3-year project exploring biobehavioral pathways underlying the intersection of alcohol use and liver health.
The project unites a team of addiction scientists and hepatologists to demonstrate the feasbility of implementing a brief alcohol use disorder intervention with personalized feedback from biomarkers of liver function, drinking patterns, and self-monitoring of craving and negative affect via smartphone reports in daily life.
