Dr. Kristina Jackson, Research Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences, (Principal Investigator) received the notice of award for her R01, "Understanding Adolescent In-Vivo Exposure to Alcohol Content in the Media" (R01AA027968) from the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) back in September of 2020.

This project uses a timely ecological approach to answer the fundamental question of how media alcohol content elevates underage drinking risk to optimally inform next steps in preventive media literacy intervention research.
