Alcohol, the brain, and the immune system

A research study on acute neural and immune effects of alcohol in people living with HIV infection.

Drinking and Smoking Study

If you smoke more than 1 ½ packs of cigarettes a week and drink regularly, you may be eligible to participate in a brain imaging research study.

Project LINC

We are looking for research volunteers in the Providence area who recently entered treatment or are seeking treatment for alcohol use and have used cannabis to participate in a paid confidential research study from Brown University. 

Project MARS

Project MARS is looking for volunteers ages 21-50. Eligible participants must be current alcohol drinkers and cannabis users to participate in a confidential research study on the effects of cannabis and alcohol at Brown University. Participants will complete in-person study sessions and daily surveys in a phone app.

Project mHealth

Do you use alcohol and opioids? Are you 18 to 25 years old?
Brown University is looking for people who use alcohol and opioids to participate in a research study. 

Simultaneous Use Patterns (SUP) Study

A non-treatment research study involving individuals who use alcohol and other drugs at the same time so that their effects overlap

Stress Alcohol Study

We are looking for participants who drink alcohol that are interested in seeking treatment, and are at least 18 years of age.
